For Goh, whose pre-COVID calendar revolved around constant travel, having everything screech to a grinding halt in a matter of weeks meant that his entire life had been upended with the government-imposed lockdown. From initial reactions of fear and anxiety with the expected change of plans, to the eventual feelings of hope and gratitude for a new found focus on family, Goh’s latest body of work turns away from his surroundings and explores his internal landscape, depicting an emotional journey that many will relate to as a universal experience.
