#GBK85 - A Retrospective on Singaporean Artist Goh Beng Kwan

A 10-day exhibition held at the Conrad Centennial Singapore that combines physical and AR art is a comprehensive retrospective of Mr Goh’s art. This show is in celebration of his 85th year of life, his values Generosity, Bravery, and Kinship, and also in support of Mental Healthfulness brought about by his creative expression through his 60 years of being an artist. His body of work is ever-evolving; from ink to collages to NFT – this immersive show took us on a journey through sixty years of his illustrious career as an artist.

本届展览的活动名为“GBK85”，它具有双重含义，第一重：G是Generosity，喻义慷慨和大方；B是Brave和Bright，代表着勇敢和光明；K是Kind和Kinship，表示善良和亲情；第二重：也是 Goh Beng Kwan (吴珉权) 的第一个英文字母的组合。 而85，则是表明吴老先生在85岁时，耄耋之年，选出85幅代表佳作来举办这此展览活动，活动的部分收入将捐赠给慈善机构 “SAMH”(Singapore Association for Mental Health)，用来帮助一些精神患者。吴老先生认为，通过艺术创作，或者通过观赏艺术，可以舒缓人们的精神负担，减轻人们的心里压力。感谢所有的支持者，您用您的善良和慷慨给需要的人带来了帮助，带来了光明。
